Damn, now I can't use that quote for a title anymore. I hate coming up with titles. Anyways, this is the first of many beautiful photos of my Garnet cosplay that I will be uploading. I think I literally squealed when I saw these for the first time last night!

A couple of details on the costume: This was my second version of the crown, picky me didn't think the first one was that great. I followed Euphoria's tutorial for this one, and attached it to a headband so that it sits securely on my head. The necklace is a big honking Swarovski 50mm crystal. A lot of Garnets get the 60mm, but the price difference between the two was twenty dollars, so I figured I'd rather lose those 10mm than $20 : P I chose fleur di lis for the shape of the armbands so that they would match the bottom of the dress. The dress was embroidered by hand over the course of a long time and a lot of episodes of King of the Hill and Toddlers and Tiaras.
